Vilamoura, in the Men's competition of the National Club Championship - Solverde, is the new National Club Champion in the tournament that was played from 05th till 08th september 2024 at Vidago Palace.
In the Men's competition, there was a big surprise with the victory of C.G. Vilamoura against Oporto, four-time national champion, by 4-3. It was the return of the Algarve team to the condition of National Club Champion for the first time since 2017, but this was the 18th title for their record. It is worth mentioning that in the return of “Stroke Play”, which ordered the teams for the “Match Play” phase, Oporto came first and the Algarve team finished in sixth place.
