Cabot Bordeaux, in Le Plan-Médoc, on the outskirts of Bordeaux, France hosted national champion clubs from 24 countries.
The event should have been played over three rounds of 18 holes, but today's round was canceled because the course was unplayable due to heavy rain.
Only the results of 36 holes were counted. The teams were formed by three members, with the two best cards being counted each day.
The National Champion, C.G. Vilamoura, was represented by Jamie Mann (who in the Individual classification finished in the group of 9th placed), Alexander Amey and Martim Pinto Johansen. With an aggregate result of 294 shots (+10), the Algarve team achieved 10th place.
The new European Champions are the French from Golf de St. Nom La Breteche, who completed the event with 279 strokes (-5), two strokes less than Smorum Golf Club, in Denmark, and four less than Koninklijke Haagsche, in the Netherlands.
