3rd place in Sub14
The Vilamoura team is the Vice Champion of the Clubs National Championship at Under 18 that took place from April 03 to 05, at the Santo Estevão field at Benavente. Also the team of Under14 was well ranked in 3rd place. In both categories the winning teams are from the Miramar club in this tournament that celebrated two decades of existence.
Lucas Lopes Azinheiro, Jamie Mann, Gonçalo Teodoro and Leonardo Rocha were the runners-up in the Under18 tournament. In the Under14, the team was formed by Alexander Amey, Ricardo Serpa and João Crasi Alves.
In the Under 18, the 687 strokes that were the result of 3 better players of the team of Vilamoura gave to them the position of Vice-champion. Vilamoura was 18-strokes away from Miramar's team, which took first place with 669 strokes. The 3rd place was the team of Porto that made 696 strokes in the three days of testing.
Already in the Under14, with 783 strokes Vilamoura was classified in the 3º place of the podium and was behind two teams of Miramar in 1º with 741 and in 2º place with 742. Nevertheless it managed to surpass the club Estoril, that was in 4º place, to just one hit with 784.
