Days 26 till 29 April at Ribagolf I, at Benavente
Vitor Lopes was the Vice Champion in the Audi Absolute National Championship that took place, from April 26 to 29, 2018, at the Ribagolfe I, in Benavente. The champion was Pedro Lencart, of the Miramar club that made 292 strokes (75-72-72-73) and with four more strokes (73-72-75-76), Vítor Lopes finished in second place. The Ladie Champion was Leonor Bessa with 293 strokes (73-73-69-78) from Miramar.
In 6th place Kiko Francisco Coelho finished with 309 strokes (74-76-77-82) and in 7th was the position of Lucas Azinheiro with 310 strokes (81 + 74 + 79 + 76).
George Ounstead was the 15th with 316 strokes (83-77-78-78) and Oscar Amado de Carvalho's 20th, with 319 strokes (79-78-78-84)
Tomas Mician (80-82-80-78) and Jamie Mann (78-79-78-85) both finished tied with 320 strokes.
Luca Lopes was in 26th place with 323 strokes (81-75-86-81) but in the National Championship of 2ª Categories, in a category for players with handicap between 4.5 and 11.4, that took place in parallel, was the winner.
Gonçalo Teodoro was 27th with 324 strokes (81-81-82-80) followed by Bruno Vicente who was 31st with 328 strokes (84-83-82-79).
Tomás Carlota was ranked 35th with 330 strokes (82-85-79-84).
Players Floris Steunenberg, David Rocha Martins, Gustavo Monteiro, David Perrolas and Daniel Caixeiro did not complete the 4-day event.
