Vilamoura Golf Club is the new National Club Champion in the Pitch & Putt, achieving a final result that is three strokes lower than the Paredes Golfe Clube. Quinta das Lágrimas came in third place.
The “National Club Championship – Pitch & Putt” took place this weekend, 23th and 24th september, at the Paredes Golfe Clube, with the participation of eight clubs.
At the end of yesterday's journey Paredes and Vilamoura shared first place in the classification, with a total of 316 strokes (-8) – the three best individual results were recorded in each lap.
Today the Algarve were the strongest, but both teams had their best performance.
In the final aggregate, Vilamoura recorded 468 shots (-18), with Paredes recording 471 (-15).
The National Champion team was made up of João Crasi Alves, Tiago Abrantes, Martim Pinto Johansen, Romeu Gonçalves (player captain) and Rodrigo Sousa Correia.
